Documents required

Any bank will ask you to provide the following documents before your mortgage application is finally approved:
 

• a copy of your passport;
• the original valuation report;
• the original employer’s statement;
• a copy of the purchase agreement.

Depending on the specific circumstances, a bank may also ask you to provide the following documents:
 

• a copy of the statement of outstanding personal loans;
• statement regarding refurbishment;
• value statement for the current home, provided by the estate agent selling the property;
• a copy of the statement for the outstanding mortgage on the current property;
• a copy of the divorce decree
